Jeff Siarto

Actor/Voice Actor

Jeff Siarto is new to the voice over industry.  As a Non-Union talent he has completed several voice over workshops at Goteri Creative Arts and has shown a natural talent for the voice over industry.  He has also participated in a voice over course at Voice Over Productions with Gerald McBride and Randy Z of the Specs Howard School of Broadcasting and Improv/Acting Class with Rich Goteri. Working with his voice over coach Karri Brantley he is developing his classic sound with both a smooth relaxing voice and an upbeat announcer that lends itself to all types of radio and television commercial work and much more. Starting 2018 on a positive note he signed with The iGroup, Model and Talent Agents in Southfield and Productions Plus, The Talent Shop in Bingham Farms. Continuing his education Jeff signed up for another class at Goteri Creative Arts, Spokesperson Acting. This eight week course focuses on 2 main aspects of industrial film for actors, Day Players and On Camera Spokespeople.  The first 3 weeks will explore Day Players – authentic portrayals, often with transcribed dialogue, which teach the viewer about the expectations in a corporate work space.  The final 5 weeks will focus on the On Camera Spokesperson, including current trends in presentation, cue cards, teleprompter and the ear prompter as well as movement and creating environment.  In the end the student will have a strong understanding of what it takes to succeed in industrial film auditions and bookings.

Having done some theater work at Bloomfield Hills Lahser High School he played Elwood P. Dowd with his imaginary rabbit in "Harvey".  He also sang his way through "The King and I" as the King of Siam and John the Baptist in "Godspell".  During the fall of 2017 he played an extra (protester) in the film Devils Night Dawn of the Nain Rouge and in 2018 he was an extra in Revenge of the Mask.

Singing has always been a part of his life and a couple of impersonations of Elvis, Sammy Davis Jr. and Neil Diamond won't disappoint.  In  June of 2017 Jeff appeared on the Mitch Albom show, WJR 760 AM as a Co-Host.  You can check out one of the segments under the Demo tab and listen to his voice as it was broadcast around the Detroit area.  Currently Jeff is a System Support Manager at Star EMS in Pontiac and has also been an Automotive Supplier, Electrical Manufacturers Rep, a Police Officer and Dispatcher for 17 years with the Oxford Police Department and then 10 years as a Sergeant on the Oxford Fire Department.  Always having been told he has a voice for radio he has also  wanted to do voice over work and is excited about what the future brings.  Residing in West Bloomfield Michigan he has set up a studio at home but is also just minutes away from local recording studios.

Starting 2019 running Jeff was accepted into Rich Goteri’s Master Class to start pursuing some acting as well as voice over. This training runs for six months covering all aspects of acting. On February 4th Jeff was offered his first speaking role of “Odin” in an upcoming movie short “Rise of the Mask; Odin’s 9” to be filmed in July and will also appear in “Revenge of the Mask 2” as “Wednesday”. Later in 2019 he was offered a supporting role of Charles Moretti in a movie short called All Kinds in the I Vow Series and also the part of DJ Roy Jebb in the movie, The Denny Dooley story.

2020 with the COVID 19 pandemic things are a little different. Working on home studio recording and learning some engineering Jeff will be working with Voice Actor Kiff VandenHeuvel, live from Los Angeles as he teaches the art of Voice Over Acting. 8 Weeks covering home recording, editing 101, equipment 101 and tackling copy in a dynamic and thoughtful way for commercial, industrial, audiobook and character driven scripts. Part of Goteri Creative Arts this should be a great learning experience.

Wanting to improve his home VO set-up Jeff hooked up with George the Tech (George Whittam) in September of 2021. Working over a remote Zoom session George created a patch to utilize with some new equipment purchase and give a better sounding recording for all his submissions.

2022 the saga continues as I get to reprise my roll as Odin in Revenge of the Mask Supercut. I am also enrolling into another Voice Over class at Goteri Creative Arts with Chip Kipps as the instructor.
